In order to reflect the holistic mission of universities, academic careers need to be balanced between, and value, all aspects of the academic profession.
As this is not yet a day-to-day reality, reforming academic careers is one of the priorities of EUA’s vision document ‘Universities without walls: a vision for 2030’.
To support EUA’s work on this topic, a one-year Task-and-Finish Group explored good practice in managing academic careers. Following the publication of this group’s ‘Key principles for attractive and sustainable careers’ on 27 May, this webinar will further explore the key principles and the considerations and practices behind them.
This webinar is free of charge and open to all. Registrations will remain open until the start of the webinar.
